VICCO, NIL MOLINER AND ROZALÉN OPEN THE POSTER OF THE GALA DEL COCIDO TO BE BROADCASTED ON TVG NEXT FEBRUARY 2nd FROM THE LALÍN ARENA

The veteran Bertín Osborne will complete the line-up of national artists who will take part in the event that opens the big weekend of the Feria del Cocido.

The Galician orchestras Panorama and Cinema will also take part in the Lalinense show.

The Lalinense artist Pachi, the dance group Scene Ballet, the group SusiQ and the Duendes de Doade, will complete the local part of the Gala del Cocido bill.

In this edition, a "fanzone" will be set up in the central area of the stalls where the youngsters will be able to dance and enjoy the show as if it were a concert, with the audience standing and moving in this area, which will have a capacity for more than 500 people. The rest of the capacity will be seated as every year.

The names of the artists who will participate on Friday 2nd February in the Gala del Cocido "Especial Luar", which will be presented by José Manuel Gayoso and Esther Estévez in the Lalín Arena, are beginning to be known. As was the case last year, the programming team of the Gala opted for the hiring of artists of wide renown and current national level and that attract a young audience, complemented by other more transversal performances for all audiences such as prominent orchestras and veteran artists.

The list of national artists with a wide following among young people will be made up of the Catalan singer and composer Vicco, author of songs like "Nochentera", which has already accumulated 7 platinum records and more than 50M views on Youtube, Nil Moliner, also from Catalonia, who will perform some of his most popular songs on stage, and Rozalén from Albacete, singer-songwriter and composer of hits such as "La Puerta Violeta" and "La Virgen del Portovello", which she performed with the Galician group Tanxugueiras.

Three artists of national renown and appeal will be joined by the veteran singer Bertín Osborne, who has already performed at other editions of the Gala with notable success and support from the public present at the Lalín Arena. The Andalusian artist has just released his new album a month ago, entitled "Ranchero". He will be accompanied by a group of mariachis.

ORCHESTRAS

The party music will be provided by two of the best Galician orchestras. The Panorama orchestra, which although at this time of the year is not touring, will take part in the Lalinense Gala, and the Cinema orchestra, which is among the four or five best Galician orchestras and with one of the freshest performances on the Galician scene.

Lalinense will be represented at the Gala by the veteran singer Pachi, who last year starred in one of the most exciting moments of the Gala, the group Os Trasnos de Doade, a formation of the dance school Scene Ballet and the group SusyQ. They will show a part of the creative and musical work that is done in Lalín.

FANZONE

For this edition of the Gala, the organisers decided to set up a "fanzone" in the central area of the arena, with direct access from the outside, for the younger people who wish to follow the Gala standing up and dancing as if it were a concert. This area will have a capacity of more than 500 people and will have a separate access to the rest of the public, who will be seated and with different invitations. This area will have a minimum age of 14 years old for security reasons.

The invitations for the Gala will be handed out on Tuesday 30th, from 17:00 hours, at the reception desk of the Town Hall and until they are sold out, with a maximum of two invitations per person. Applicants must request which one they want, seated or standing, taking into account the age limitations of standing, and the fact that there will be no space in that area to sit down to follow the Gala.

MORE SEATING

The capacity of the show will be increased by around 300 people compared to last year because of this "fanzone" area, which the organisers believe could be very lively given the artists appearing at the Gala.

As for the timetable, the doors will open at around 20:30 hours and close at around 21:00 hours with the capacity that exists at that time and as long as the capacity has not already been completed for the criterion of security. The organisers remind us that the tickets are invitations, not tickets, and that they are subject to the capacity of the venue.
