Manolo Paz is the author of the artwork, and is one of the most renowned Iberian sculptors in recent decades.
It was presented by the Mayor of Lalín together with the artist on the 10th of December in the Town Hall.
Manolo Paz, member of the Royal Galician Academy of Fine Arts, pointed out that his drawing is an artistic perspective of a “cacheira” (pig’s head) together with several ears, with a background of the green colour of the flag of Lalín and the blue of the Galician flag, which will be combined with white letters.
José Crespo acknowledged that he was an admirer of the work of the sculptor from Cambados, and his national and international renown led him to choose him as the poster designer for the 54th edition of the Cocido.
The Cocido 2022, a Festival of International Tourist Interest, is already underway.
