The official poster for the 58th Feira do Cocido was unveiled, created by renowned Galician painter José María Barreiro, who has had a distinguished artistic career spanning more than six decades and is one of the Fair's most prolific poster artists.

The mayor of Lalín, José Crespo, emphasised that this is a poster that the public will like, ‘a festive poster, deeply linked to our identity and the essence of who we are’. Its aesthetics and symbolism continue the tradition of using Galician art as an expression of the soul of a celebration that transcends gastronomy. He expressed his gratitude to the artist: ‘We are proud that one of the great Galician painters is representing our Fair. Thank you for creating a poster that reflects so well who we are.’

José María Barreiro created the first official poster for the Fair in 1969, marking the beginning of a tradition that has accompanied each edition since then. He returned as a poster artist in 2010 and now returns in 2026, thus reinforcing an artistic and emotional bond with the Festival.

In 2022, he was named "Comendador do Cocido", in a ceremony held in Miami during the international presentation of the Fair.
